Volleyball: IU East 3, Alice Lloyd 0

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East volleyball team completed a season sweep of Alice Lloyd College with a 25-8, 25-15, 25-12 victory on Friday, Nov. 1.

With the River States Conference win on Lingle Court, IU East is now 20-9 overall and 9-3 in the league. Alice Lloyd falls to 6-24 and 0-13 in the conference. The Red Wolves won 25-17, 25-18, 25-13 at Alice Lloyd in the first contest of the season.

Jessica Swimm topped IU East with 15 kills as Aubrey Miller finished with a dozen. Aislyn Hogan had 40 assists.

Defensively, Ella Bickel led the way for IU East with 22 digs as Swimm added 13. Summer Hendershot contributed 12 digs and Hogan had 11.

The Red Wolves finish the weekend against Shawnee State University on Saturday, Nov. 2. The action starts with the resumption of a suspended contest from earlier this season at 1 p.m. The scheduled affair gets underway at 2 p.m.
