Women's Soccer: IU East 0, Rio Grande 0

EATON, Ohio – Two teams with playoff aspirations faced on Saturday to a scoreless tie.

The IU East women’s soccer team looked to gain ground on Rio Grande in the RSC standings but neither team was able to find the back of the net.

With the tie, the Red Wolves sit in third in conference with a record of 4-7-4 overall and 4-1-2 in the RSC. The Red Storm are now 8-5-3 overall and 5-0-3 in conference.

Mia Runyan had three of the five shots for the Red Wolves. Denise Davalos and Abby Titlow each had one. Kylie O’Leary had three saves in the 90 minutes.

The Red Wolves will host Oakland City on Thursday (Oct. 31) at Centerville High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
