Women's Soccer: IU East 1, Huntington 1

EATON, Ohio - The Indiana University East women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with Huntington University on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The Red Wolves are now 0-5-2, while the Foresters are 5-1-2.

After a scoreless opening half at Eaton High School, IU East's Denise Davalos found the back of the net on a free kick from 20 yards at the 55:56 mark of the second period.

Huntington scored its goal at 89:53 after IU East goalkeeper Kylie O'Leary stopped a shot attempt before a header by Elana McGinnis tied the contest.

O'Leary had three saves with all of them in the second frame.

IU East returns to action at Bethel University in Mishawaka on Friday, Sept. 20. The non-conference affair begins at 6 p.m.
