Red Wolves Begin Season on the Road

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Indiana University East women's soccer team dropped its season opener 7-1 at Siena Heights University on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

Zaryah Griffin scored IU East's goal at the 23:30 mark of the first half. Katherine Lopez Cruz assisted on the play.

Siena Heights had a pair of goals in the first half on Dawson Field as the Saints led 2-1 at the intermission.

IU East is 0-1. A member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, Siena Heights is 1-0.

The Red Wolves finish their visit to Michigan at Madonna University on Friday, Aug. 23. The match starts at 2 p.m.
