EATON, Ohio - The Indiana University East women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Point Park University on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Point Park scored the game-winner on a penalty kick during the second half of the River States Conference contest at Eaton (Ohio) High School.
The Red Wolves are now 0-6-5 overall and 0-1-3 in the league, while Point Park is 5-3-2, 2-0-0.
Down by a goal in the opening period, Amyah Thacker scored at the 30:15 mark with an assist from Grace Harris. It was Thacker's second goal of the season.
Kylie O'Leary had four saves in goal for the Red Wolves.
IU East returns to action against Shawnee State University on Thursday, Oct. 5. The conference affair at Centerville High School gets underway at 5 p.m.
