ST. MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. - Morgan Grudich scored at the 88:03 mark as the Indiana University East women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Thursday, Sept. 28.
It was the third straight tie for the Red Wolves who are now 0-5-5 overall and 0-0-3 in the River States Conference. The Pomeroys are 1-3-3 and 0-0-1.
After a scoreless opening period, the Pomeroys scored early to the second half to grab the lead.
For Grudich, it was her second goal of the season and fourth of her career at IU East
IU East goalkeeper Kylie O'Leary had two saves for the Red Wolves.
Next up for the Red Wolves is Point Park University on Saturday, Sept. 30. The RSC contest at Eaton (Ohio) High School is at 2 p.m.
