IU East Competes in Event at Players Club
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's golf team travels to Yorktown to compete in the Players Club Invitational hosted by Taylor University on Sept. 6-7.
Both days at The Players Club at Woodland Trails are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.
The lineup for the Red Wolves for the tournament is Katie Craig, Sophia Curry, Lainey Jackson, Liv Sanders and Jalyn Bruns with Ashlynne Osborne playing as an individual.
In addition to IU East and the host Trojans, the other squads in the affair are Grace College, Grand View University, Huntington University, Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Oakland City University.

* The Red Wolves are coming off a victory in the IU East Fall Invitational last weekend at Highland Lake Golf Course.
* Katie Craig (78-76-154) and Sophia Curry (79-75-154) were both fifth on the individual leaderboard for IU East last weekend as they made the all-tournament team.
* Taylor was ranked 19th in the 2024-25 NAIA Preseason Poll, while IU East and Huntington both received votes.
* Earlier this week, Taylor and Huntington were first and second in the Battle at Brookwood in Ft. Wayne.
