Women's Golf: IU East at Saddlebrook Spring Kick-off Day 3 Recap
WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - The Indiana University East women's golf team moved up a spot to finish fifth on the final day of the Saddlebrook Spring Kick-off Tournament on Thursday, March 6.
The Red Wolves had a team score of 353-362-276-991 in the three-day event on the Palmer Course near Tampa.
No. 5 Marian University won the seven-team affair with a score of 310-323-323-956. Marian's Mackendzie Dresbaugh was the medalist with 75-77-81-233.
Jalyn Bruns led IU East with an 82-84-97-263 as she finished in a tie for 17th on the individual leaderboard.
Also scoring for the Red Wolves were Liv Sanders 83-91-96-270 (22nd), Sophia Curry 91-91-91-273 (25th) and Katie Craig, who had the best third round score for the Red Wolves with 106-96-89-291 (32nd). Ashlynne Osborne also had a 106 on Thursday.
Next up for the Red Wolves is the Heritage Hill Collegiate hosted by Lawrence Tech University in Kentucky on March 21-22.
