Men's Cross Country: NAIA National Championships Preview
RICHMOND, Ind. - For the second time in school history, the Indiana University East men's cross country team will be competing in the NAIA National Championships on Friday, Nov. 22.
The men's 8K race begins the 36-team event hosted by Columbia College on the Gans Creek Cross Country Course at 11:30 a.m. (IU East time). The women's 6K follows at 12:30 p.m.
IU East earned an at-large bid as the No. 21 Red Wolves finished third at the River States Conference Championships on Nov. 9.

The Gans Creek Cross Country Course is located in the Gans Creek Recreation Area with a GPS address of 3100 E Gans Rd, Columbia, MO 65201. Missouri is on Central Time.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW
* There 36 teams in the field including RSC champ No. 15 Shawnee State University and league runner-up No. 14 University of Rio Grande, which also received an at-large bid.
* Back in 2022, IU East made its first appearance as a team at the NAIA National Championships as the Red Wolves finished 30th of 36 squads in Florida.
* Mylan Nocton led the Red Wolves during the RSC Championships as he finished second with a time of 24:58.9.
* IU East's other All-RSC runners were Cameron Nocton (sixth, 25:18.9, first team), Axton Fosnaugh (13th, 25:48.1, second team), Teagan Rodriguez (17th, 26:03.2, third team) and Richard Bower (18th, 26:12.6, third team).
