Outdoor Track: JennaStrong Invitational Recap

WILMINGTON, Ohio - Indiana University East had three athletes finish in the top three as the Red Wolves were represented in two events the JennaStrong Track & Field Invitational at Wilmington College on Saturday, April 5.

Ricard Bower led the way for IU East as he finished second in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:56.14. Conner Walser followed Bower in third place with a time of 10:18.41. Dixon Minton was seventh in 10:37.62.

Savanna Smith was third in the women's steeplechase as she posted a time of 13:37.41.

Smantha Fowler and Evelyn Hasenour both ran in the women's 5,000 meters. Fowler was seventh in 19:22.61, while Hasenour was ninth with 19:43.53.

The Red Wolves are back in action at the Indiana Little State Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University on April 11-12.
