Men's Golf: Indy at Forest Hills Recap

RICHMOND, Ind. - Sam Firebaugh led the Indiana University East golf men's golf team in The Indy at Forest Hills Fall Invitational hosted by Miami University on Friday, Oct. 4.

Firebaugh finished in a tie for 20th as he carded a 71-76-147 in the event that featured several NCAA Division I schools.

The other Red Wolves competing in the 13-team affair on the local course were Riley Bratton (74-75-149, T34th), Emiliano Tercero (79-79-158, 45th) and Austin Shelley (77-87-164, T49th).

Zach Burton of Xavier University was the top individual with a 69-63-132. There are no team scores for this event.

IU East finishes the fall season with a trip to Tennessee for the Music City Collegiate  at the GreyStone Country Club in Dickson on Oct. 7-8.
