IU East Finishes Third at Lawrence Tech Collegiate Kickoff

THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. - The Indiana University East men's golf team maintained its position on the final day of the Lawrence Tech University Collegiate Kickoff as the Red Wolves finished third at the Crystal Mountain Resort on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

The Red Wolves had a team score of 320-308-313-941 in the 54-hole event finished with the last round on the Mountain Ridge Golf Course.

Lawrence Tech won the tournament with Lake Superior State University coming in second.

Sam Firebaugh made the all-tournament team with a 75-72-75-222 to finish in a tie for second on the individual leaderboard.

IU East's other scores were Austin Shelley 86-78-79-243, Riley Bratton 77-88-78-243, Ethan Sunsdahl 82-78-86-246, Dillon Letendre 87-80-81-248 and Braden Tedder 84-90-83-257.

Next up for the Red Wolves is the Players Club Invitational hosted by Taylor University in Yorktown on Sept. 9-10.
