Men's Golf: IU East at Lions Spring Classic Preview

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's golf team travels to Tennessee for Freed-Hardeman University's Lions Spring Classic on April 7-8.

The two-day, 36-hole tournament at Ross Creek Landing in Clifton gets underway on Monday at 9:30 a.m.

IU East's tee times on No. 1 are Sam Firebaugh (10:42 a.m.), Austin Shelley (10:34), Mason Hahn (10:26), Emiliano Tercero (10:18) and Riley Bratton (10:10). Braden Tedder is playing as an individual and he will start on No. 10 at 11:22 a.m. 

IU East and Freed-Hardeman will be joined in the event by Bethel University (Tenn.), Blue Mountain Christian University, Campbellsville University, Central Baptist College, Florida College, Truett McConnell University, the University of Mobile and The University of Tennessee Southern.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

* IU East finished third in the Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational on Sunday, March 23.

* The Red Wolves scored a 295-283-577 at Alice Lloyd.

* Firebaugh topped with a 70-68-138 as he tied for second place at The Battlefield Golf Club. Shelley was tied for eighth at 77-68-145.

* The 2025 RSC Championships in West Virginia are scheduled for Glade Springs on May 4-6.
