Men's Golf: IU East at Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational Day 1 Recap
RICHMOND, Ky. - The Indiana University East golf men's golf team finished the opening round of the Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational in second place on Saturday, March 22.
The Red Wolves posted a team score of 295 as they trail the University of Northwestern Ohio, which had a 280 at The Battlefield Golf Club.
Sam Firebaugh carded a 70 for IU East that puts him in third on the individual leaderboard behind Northwestern Ohio's Luke Turner (66) and Oscar Lind (68).
Also in the top 10 for the Red Wolves was Mason Hahn who shot a 73, that is good for the eighth spot.
The other scores for IU East were Emiliano Tercero (75, T11th), Riley Bratton (75, T11th), Austin Shelley (77, T19th), Zach Rutan (78, T22nd), Ryan Craig (79, T26th), Braden Tedder (80, 31st) and Andon Ross (81, T32nd).
Sunday's final round of the 36-hole event starts at 9 a.m.
