Bio

Dom was named the head coach for men’s and women’s track and field in August 2023.

Dom came from West Liberty University where he spent five years as the assistant track and field coach. As the assistant, he coached 14 total all-conference athletes and had five school records broken (Indoor shotput, outdoor shotput, weight throw, hammer, and discuss). Dom also coached four separate student-athletes to become conference champions. One of his student-athletes also earned a second-team all-American award in the discuss in 2022.

Administratively, he compiled and submitted necessary team insurance forms as well as kept a log for personal records in throws and wight lifting goals. He also organized official and unofficial visits with student-athletes to personally provide one on one campus tours and facilitated relationships and engagements with West Liberty.

Dom completed his undergrad and master’s from West Liberty where he competed in track and field and football. He earned his bachelor’s in business administration in Sports Management and his master’s in Sports Leadership and Coaching. He has a USTFCCCA certification in throwing events.
