Men's Golf: IU East at RSC Fall Preview Recap Day 2

DANIELS, W.Va. - The Indiana University East men's golf team had two players in the top 10 as the Red Wolves finished fifth in the River States Conference Fall Preview at The Resort at Glade Springs on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

The Red Wolves improved their team score on the second day to record a 310-294-604. Midway University won the 10-team event with a 292-287-579.

Sam Firebaugh and Riley Bratton moved up three spots on the leaderboard as they tied for ninth place with identical scores of 75-73-148.

The other scores for IU East were Austin Shelley 79-74-153 (T20th), Emiliano Tercero 81-74-155 (T29th), Dillon Letendre 81-75-156 (T32nd) and Ethan Sunsdahl 82-84-166 (55th).

Midway's Hayes Mason (70-71-141) and Jack Bedell (72-69-141) tied for the top individual score.

The Red Wolves will be in action in the Indy at Forest Hills Country Club hosted by Miami University on Friday, Oct. 4.
